The categories divide the measures into different thematic groupings. They are located at the bottom right of the Partner Dashboard.
If you click on an individual category, you will be taken to the detailed view and receive an individual security assessment as well as a list of the relevant measures grouped by targets.
Ransomware
Vulnerabilities caused by malicious programs that block access to data or the entire computer system until a ransom is paid.

Software Update
Vulnerabilities caused by outdated software versions and potential points of attack.
Passwords
Vulnerabilities caused by insecure or missing passwords that can allow access to sensitive data.
System Security
Vulnerabilities caused by fundamental misconfigurations and security gaps in IT devices that can compromise the security of the system.
Web Security
Vulnerabilities caused by errors and security gaps in web applications and websites that could allow potential attacks.
Attack Surface
Vulnerabilities that offer potential attackers gateways into the internal network and jeopardize security.
Encryption
Vulnerabilities related to the encryption of messages and data that can lead to security risks.
Authentication
Vulnerabilities related to access authorizations for various identified services that could allow unauthorized access.
Other
Vulnerabilities that cannot be clearly assigned to one of the other categories.
For each target, the associated measures in the category are ranked according to their effectiveness, cost and effort.
Click on the plus button to plan a measure. You can see how the planned measures affect the evaluation in the rating scale of the selected category.
On the right-hand side of the screen you will find a list of the measures already planned. The measures are automatically saved in the open Renovation Plan. You can create further plans under "Renovation Plan".
You can also plan individual measures by expanding the measure. If a measure consists of several individual measures and you do not plan all individual measures, the measure is colored lighter after planning. This allows you to see whether all individual measures have been planned or not.
The further you click into a measure, the more details are displayed. You can also view the vulnerabilities grouped together. To do this, click on the description of the individual vulnerabilities to access the Vulnerability Details.
This category uses various test indicators to provide an overall rating of ransomware protection.
The rating is made up of:
Up-to-dateness of the installed software
Review of virus protection, macro security & security best practices
Questionnaires on backup, email security and security awareness
In the subcategories of backups, email security and security awareness, questionnaires must be completed in order to generate measures.
For the subcategories Macro Protection, Firewall and Virus Protection, lywand creates customized recommendations based on the results of the security check. If you click on a specific measure, you can select the corresponding end devices.
